We will be serving a traditional Taiwanese wedding dinner, steeped in symbolism, with each dish carefully selected to convey blessings and good wishes for our future. The meal typically consists of 8 to 12 courses, served family-style to celebrate togetherness and community. Some of the dishes include abalone, symbolizing wealth and prosperity, lobster, representing strength and good fortune, beef tenderloin, a nod to abundance and richness, along with soup for warmth and nourishment, and fish, a symbol of surplus and happiness.
If you have any dietary restrictions, please specify them on the RSVP. We will do our best to accommodate your needs.
In Taiwan, weddings end at 10:00 PM, but an AFTER PARTY follows at 11:00 PM! We will be heading to FRANK Taipei —great music, fun (and strong) drinks, and unforgettable memories!
If you'd like, please join us on Sunday night as we explore the vibrant Shilin Night Market for an authentic taste of Taiwanese vibes and street food—perfect for curing any lingering hangovers we may have! Some popular treats to try include fried chicken, stinky tofu (if you dare!), grilled mushrooms, Taiwanese sausage, beef noodle soup, bubble tea, and the iconic pepper buns. The bustling crowds are part of the experience, so be prepared for a lively adventure! We’ll meet in the lobby and head out together as a group. Don’t forget to bring cash, as most vendors are cash-only, and try to have smaller bills on hand for convenience. We’d love to share this experience with you!
